This is not the fix we want. The only change needed here was to update https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/agent-framework/support/upgrade/python-2026-significant-changes, which we did. |

Background
ChatMessageStorewas removed in #3850 (Feb 2026) when the thread/memory layer was reworked into the context-provider pipeline. The replacement isHistoryProvider. However, users attempting to importChatMessageStore(as documented in some upgrade guides) receive an ImportError.Changes
